How is everyone doing?! Thank you so much for the letters (and the package!) you sent this week. It was really uplifting to hear from you, and see how Heavenly Father is blessing all of you. Your testimony and stories are really inspiring, and it was great to hear from you all!The MTC is going good. This is the final week so everyone is hurrying up and down to get things done - including me! So I don't think I'll be able to write as much today. But I just want to tell you how grateful I am for everyone that each of you has done. I'm so thankful for all your help, support, and love. I'm grateful for you faith and it is a great testimony builder to be able to hear from all of you. And I want you to know that Heavenly Father is really there for all of you. And He wants to bless you and comfort you. And that through the Atonement of our Savior, we're really able to receive that comfort - because he has been there and knows exactly how we each feel. He knows our desires and intentions and wants to help us. As I prayed last night, I was really praying for peace and comfort. And as I did so, I could truly feel Heavenly Father's love and mercy. It was a really special experience, and I know that He is there and He watches over us constantly. And I'm grateful for that, and the fact that I've gotten closer to Him. I'm grateful for all He has done for us, and all that He will continue to do for us.
Well, now here are the news that everybody's waiting for:Last friday we got our flight plans and this is my schedule for next monday-
5:00AM - Leave the MTC
6:30AM - Hopefully be through and done with security and check in.
8:30AM - Delta Flight 1173 to Los Angeles Intl, due to arrive at 9:29AM Los Angeles Time (PDT)
11:15AM - Delta Flight 7880 to Tokyo Narita Intl, due to arrive at around 3:30PM Oct 1st (Tokyo time)
5:30PM - All Nippon Airways to Hiroshima Intl, due to arrive at around 7:00Pm where President and Sister Isa will be waiting to pick us up.
There you, by this time next week I'll be on a flight to Japan heading for the land of the rising sun (rising Son... get it? hehe...). Silvia, thank you so much for the wonderful package you sent. That was awesome, I really appreciate it.
Oh and I called the Bishop today to see if I could get the money transferred to my account by he wasn't home. Could you maybe talk to him and see if he can do that ASAP? The branch presidency asked us to resolve any money issues as soon as possible.
Well, anyways, I better o, but again, I want to thank every one of you for all that you've done for me. I'm still not sure if you can e-mail or not from Hiroshima (it'll depend on President Isa's new rules, which I don't know yet). So we'll see. If not, it'll just have to take a little longer.
Oh, and on monday I plan on calling Mom, Sil, and Dad (hopefully I'll be able to squeeze in a call to Tio Ju, it depends how much time I end up having). So it'll probably happen after I get through security.
Thank you so much for everything guys, you're really wonderful. Keep at it and keep praying and I know Heavenly Father will bless you. Remember: 'expect miracles', and they will come. I love all of you, can't wait to hear back!

Como estah todo mundo? Muito obrigado pelas cartas (e o pacote!) voces mandaram essa semana. Foi muito bom escutar de voces, e ver como o Pai Celestial estah abencoando todos voces. Seus testumhos e estorias sao muito inspirantes, e foi otimo de escutar de todos voces!
O CTM estah indo bem. Essa eh a semana final entao todo mundo estah correndo pra cima e pra baixo pra ter tudo pronto- incluzive eu! Entao eu nao sei se eu vou poder escrever muito hoje. Mas eu queria dizer a todos como sou grato por todo mundo e tudo que voces tem feito. Eu sou tao grato pela sua ajuda, apoio, e amor. Sou muito grato pela sua fe e eh uma otima construcao de testemunho de poder escutar de todos voces. E eu quero que voces saibam que o Pai Celestial estah realmente ai pra todos voces. E Ele quer abencoar voces e comfortar voces. E que pelo Sacrificio do nosso Salvador, nos realmente poderemos receber aquele conforto- porque Ele tem estado lah e sabe exatamente como cada um de nos sentimos. Ele sabe dos nosso desejos e intencoes, e quer nos ajudar. Enquanto eu orei ontem a noite, eu estava realmente orando por paz e conforto. E como eu tambem senti, Eu verdadeiramente senti o amor e compaixao do Pai Celestial. Foi realmente uma experiencia especial, e eu sei que Ele estah lah e Ele assiste sobre nos constantemente. E eu sou grato por isso, e da verdade que eu tenho estado mais perto Dele. Eu sou grato por tudo que Ele tem feito pela gente, e tudo que Ele vai continuar a fazer por nos.
Bem, aqui estah as noticias que todo mundo estah esperando: Sexta passada recebemos os nosso planos de viagem e isso eh o meu plano pra segunda que vem:
-5 da manha: Sair do MTC
-6:30 da manha: Espero de estar pronto com seguranca e registracao.
-8:30 da manha: Delta voo 1173 pra Los Angeles Intl, pra aterrisar as 9:29 da manha (horario de Los Angeles)
-11:15 da manha: Delta voo 7880 pra Tokyo Narita Intl, pra aterrisar mais ou menos 3:30 da tarde dia 1 de Outubro (horario de Tokyo)
-5:30 da tarde: All Nippon Airways pra Hiroshima Intl, pra aterrisar mais ou menos 7:00 da noite onde o Presidente e Irma Isa vao estar esperando pra pegar nos.
Aqui estah, nessa hora semana que vem eu vou estar num voo pro Japao, indo pra terra do Sol Nascente (filho nascendo... pegou? hehe...) Silvia, muito obrigado pelo pacote maravilhoso que voce mandou. Foi otimo, eu agradeco muito.
Oh e eu liguei pro Bispo hoje pra ver se eu posso pegar o dinheiro tranferido pra minha conta mas ele nao estava em casa. Voce poderia falar com ele e ver se ele pode fazer isso o mais cedo possivel? A presidencia do ramo pediu pra gente resolver qualquer problemas financeiros o maus cedo possivel.
Bem, de qualquer jeito, eh melhor eu ir, mas de volta, eu quero agracedecer cada um de voces por tudo que voces tem feito por mim. Eu ainda nao sei exatamente se voces podem mandar email ou nao de Hiroshima (vai depender nas regras do Presidente Isa, que eu nao sei ainda). Entao vamos ver. Se nao, as correspondencia vai demorar um mais pouco.
Oh, e na segunda feira eu vou planejar a ligar pra mae, Sil, e o pai (espero que eu vou ter tempo de espremer um pouco e fazer uma ligacao pro Tio Ju, dependendo de quanto tempo eu tenho.) Entao vai acontecer depois que eu passar a seguranca.
Muito obrigado por tudo, voces sao maravilhosos. Mantenha nisso e continuem orando e eu sei que o Pai Celestial vai abencoar voces. Lembrem: "aguardem milagres", e eles vao vir. Eu amo todos voces, nao consigo esperar de escutar de voces!

"Under the inspiration of the Lord and the courageous action of Joseph Smith, the first Latter-day Saint missionaries ever to serve beyond North America brought the restored gospel to the British Isles in 1837. Heading that first group of elders was Heber C. Kimball, who set a great example for all newly called missionaries. Humbled by the responsibility and fully aware of his limitations, he poured out his heart in prayer."
'O, Lord,' he cried, 'I am a man of stammering tongue, and altogether unfit for such a work; how can I go to preach in that land, which is so famed throughout Christendom for learning, knowledge and piety; the nursery of religion; and to a people whose intelligence is proverbial!'
